Jim and his crew were always very respectful, friendly, and available to answer questions. They worked safely to avoid accidents and cleaned up each day. They had the equipment they need on the job each day. They worked throughout a week where the temperatures were reaching 100+ degrees with very little shade available. Excellent job done by Jim’s crew. I am preparing a north Ft. Worth home for sale, however I don’t live in the DFW area. I decided to use a DFW-area Angies List contractor for the exterior paint work (“known entity”) as opposed to blindly picking an unknown contractor from the phone book and hoping for the best. My original intention was to paint the exterior myself. I pressure-washed the house exterior surfaces in preparation for painting. But then other house interior work consumed my time and I decided to have a contractor paint the exterior. I had 2 x Angies List contractors come by and give me an estimate. Jim won the work hands down. His crew was able to start work the next day. They showed up exactly on time and immediately began prep work (caulking, selective wood trim replacement) while Jim color-matched and purchased the exterior Sherwin Williams paint. The caulking/paint crew was very professional, no real over-spray onto any brickwork that I could find. The doors look great too. They finished the job that same day. They left a small drip of paint on the outside concrete which came up easily with a little water. This team has a great attention to detail! The house is half wood, half brick. A lot of wood needed replacing. We wanted “Hardi board” but they noted that Hardi board was not available in the same pattern as the existing siding, so he used the highest quality plywood. You can’t tell which wood is new after the painting. They took care to line up the grooves with the existing siding. There is very little, if any, overspray. Jim had very good instincts and told us the first color we picked would look purple in the sun. We picked a different color and it looks very nice with the metal roof color. He painted our shed to match. The work was efficient and neat. The only delay was weather-related due to the freak snow storms. Overall, it was a very pleasant experience.” – Celia B., Keller, TX
